The clients’ had lived in this house for about 5 years, when they reached out to us! Though the home was still relatively new, the clients’ had never taken the time to make it truly their own. The main floor of their home did not reflect their personality or style, and the clients’ existing furnishings were oversized for the space.

Amy Walters Design’s aim from the get-go was to infuse the main floor with simple, warm furnishings and accessories that felt collected over time. A warm, pale greige colour on the walls and new lighting throughout the main floor instantly brought light and life to the space. AWD then layered in a variety of wood tones, brass and black metal finishes, and light coloured natural fabrics to soften the space and add a tailored, yet unfussy aesthetic.
